Don Lemon had his co-hosts visibly triggered and upset after he made “alpha male” type comments about Nikki Haley. The former Governor of South Carolina announced her 2024 Presidential campaign with a short speech full of promises. One thing she mentioned was to institute a competency test for politicians over the age of 75. This can be seen as a direct shot at 80-year-old Joe Biden, but also a shot at Donald Trump who is currently 76 years old. Don Lemon attempted to make a point about Nikki Haley not being in her “prime” because she is not in her 20s or 30s. He says this is what Google shows when you enter a query about a woman’s prime age. Lemon’s two female cohosts were instantly offended, refusing to really hear his futile attempt at explaining himself.
