Three kids aged 12-14 were shot during a botched robbery at an apartment complex in Houston, Texas. Investigators say that as many as five boys in total were involved with the attempted robbery of a 25-year-old man and his girlfriend. The girlfriend, in an off-camera statement, told local news that the boys looked so young that they thought the robbery attempt was initially a prank. It is unclear if the weapons the boys had were real or not. The attempted robbery victim turned himself in for shooting the boys, citing self defense.
