Jake Tapper is writing a book about the coverup of Joe Biden’s cognitive function decline with Axios correspondent Alex Thompson. The purpose of the book appears to be an attempt to explain why Joe Biden made the disastrous choice to run again despite his obvious signs of aging. Many Democrats were upset with Biden when he pulled out of the race at the zero hour, ushering in an even more disastrous campaign with a worse candidate in Kamala Harris.

The problem with the book is that Jake Tapper participated in the coverup. He chastised people on air, including Lara Trump, for pointing out the obvious when watching Joe Biden speak. Tapper’s excuse for Biden forgetting what to say and where to go was that he suffers from a stutter. That excuse is and always was completely ridiculous, as Biden sounded better earlier in his career which would be closer to the time period that he was able to overcome his stutter. Sharpness, intelligence, and dexterity have nothing to do with a speech impediment. Now, Tapper is writing a book about the very thing that he did and he is most likely to not blame himself. This is typical of the mainstream media, which is why the general public does not trust them.
