President Trump and Vice President JD Vance had a heated exchange with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office. Video of the incident is currently going viral on social media. All major news outlets have reported on it. The context of the “blowup” is a conversation about potentially ending the war in Ukraine through diplomacy. Zelenskyy did not like this idea too much and pushed back against it. JD Vance took that as a sign of disrespect and so did the President. This sparked off a heated back-and-forth exchange in which Trump and Vance took turns arguing with Zelenskyy.

Much of what Trump & Vance said echoed the sentiments of millions of people in the country, and the world, who are tired of the Ukraine war droning on in an endless fashion. American citizens especially do not like that $350 billion dollars has been spent on what can only be viewed as a stalemate at best and an abject failure at worst.
