James Comey Posts Threatening “8647” Message Toward President Trump But Denies Wrongdoing

Former FBI Director James Comey posted a picture on social media with the numbers “8647” written by the outline of sea shells on a beach. The message was viewed by many as a threat toward President Trump as “86” means “to stop or eliminate” and “47” may refer to President 47, Donald Trump. Comey deleted the picture after the fallout, saying that he realized it was a political message but he did not know the message was in reference to violence. Many conservative figures online and off think that James Comey is lying in this situation as he has lied before. Comey has posted political messages written with or on seashells before. In October of 2024, the former FBI Director posted a seashell leaning up against a wood stake on the beach with the message “Vote Harris” written in white paint. President Trump reacted to Comey’s most recent seashells by the seashore stunt by saying that he most certainly knew what “8647” meant, especially as the former FBI Director.

Our former FBI director openly posting calls for violence against President Trump just goes to show the true depth of corruption that was allowed to fester within the FBI.

His “8647” isn’t the first time that James Comey has “found” political messages at the beach and posted them online.

He also posted “Vote Harris” in October of ’24.
