Former First Lady Hillary Clinton recently made controversial remarks about the role of migrants in the United States. The comments in question were made during an hour-long conversation in New York City at the 92nd Street Y with Margaret Hoover. At one point during the talk, complete with a studio audience, Hillary Clinton began to speak about the Trump Administrations’ goals for the American family. She mentioned the proposed $5,000 bonus for new births and other measures to incentivize American women to have more children.

Hillary Clinton says this ideology is backward, reminiscent of the 1950s, and something that the migrants are better at since they usually have larger families than the American standard. She even warned women to not become handmaidens to the patriarchy, saying that the majority of women on the Republican side are just that… with few exceptions. The reality is that in America, and other modernized countries throughout the world, there is a very low birthrate. The United State has a birthrate of 1.66, which is just slightly higher than most European nations, yet lower than the recommended 2.1 in the west.
