Ten people have been arrested for ambushing a police officer outside of a Dallas/Forth Worth, Texas area ice facility. To be specific, the Prairieland Detention Center is in Alvarado, Texas, due south of Fort Worth. The suspects allegedly created a false disturbance outside the facility which lured unarmed officers to the location. Once outside the facility, a stationed gunman opened fire at let off at least 20 to 30 rounds. One officer was hit in his neck and was treated then released from a nearby hospital.
Authorities are currently on the lookout for at least two more suspects although more could be involved. This incident is seen as an escalation of tensions between immigration officials and those who are opposed to deportations. Much of the violent rhetoric is being egged on by traditional media and leftist politicians who tend to compare ICE agents to officials in World War 2 Germany.
