California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) appeared on the Shawn Ryan podcast for an extensive, four-hour long interview. During the sit-down, in-person taping, Newsom made quite a few interesting statements. One standout moment was when he spoke about illegal aliens working in California. He stated that people like him are not rushing out to do those jobs. The Governor named a few upscale places in which rich people “like him” love to live and play but not really work. This was actually a good moment because it was him stating the quiet part out loud.
There are classes of people who want to work hard in the United States and there are others who don’t. The hard working American citizens are not necessarily going to be found next to the lazy, welfare-dependent people or the super rich non-working people like Gavin Newsom. The leftists in politics assign the perceived reality of their world onto others, classifying all Americans as super rich or super lazy which is not the case. This misconception fuels the migrant crisis which has become an albatross on the neck of the American people, costing us $451 billion annually under the Biden administration.
