You might give her an “A” for honesty, at least.
A woman running in the Republican primary for a North Carolina congressional seat admits she is “not a Republican” but in fact a “progressive” running in the GOP race because “that’s where the actual competition happens in our gerrymandered district.”
As the Gateway Pundit reports, Katie Barr is running in North Carolina’s 14th Congressional District GOP primary against incumbent Republican Rep. Tim Moore.
Why the deception? Barr tells an interviewer, “[Progressives] got to f**king win right now. Because we are in an emergency, like a democratic emergency, and so the place I can win is as a fake Republican.”
Explains Barr: “Like, I am telling people the truth. I knock on a door and say, ‘I am running in the Republican primary, but I am not a Republican, I am a progressive.’”
Here is a portion of the interview. Warning: Vulgar language:
?#BREAKING: A lifelong Democrat in North Carolina, Kate Barr, just admitted on camera she is running as a FAKE REPUBLICAN.
“I’m not a real Republican… I’m running as a progressive in a Republican primary.”
WHAT ON EARTH?!!!!

Barr’s campaign website publicizes a “No F**king Moore” town hall that was scheduled for Monday.
Despite her admission she is not a Republican, Barr’s website describes her as “Your Republican candidate for U.S. House District 14.”
Further down on the homepage, Barr explains her peculiar election strategy.
