A video has reappeared online, following scandalous behavior by Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union, that showed Democrat operative James Carville’s instructions from last year that she should leave the Democrat party.
Omar belligerently berated and scolded Trump, even if few could hear her comments, even calling him a liar, during the speech.
That prompted a video of Carville, scolding Omar, to be reposted all over.

Carville’s comments were made in 2025, and they concerned comments from Omar that she made way back in 2018.
At the time, he complained, “Lady, why don’t you just get out of the Democratic Party. Honestly, start your own movement.”
Her interview was with Al Jazeera and she complained that America “should be more fearful of white men because they’re causing most of the deaths within this country.”
She was a candidate for Congress in a Somali-immigrant district in Minnesota when she made the racist accusations.
She was elected and has been in Congress since.
Carville pointed out the simple math is that white men make up a large portion of the voting population.
He said he didn’t believe “we sought to be running against white men.”
According to the Washington Examiner, Omar and another leftist in Congress, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., heckled Trump many times during his speech this week.
Trump responded with a comment that the two need to be “institutionalized.”
“When you watch Low IQ Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, as they screamed uncontrollably last night at the very elegant State of the Union, such an important and beautiful event, they had the bulging, bloodshot eyes of crazy people, LUNATICS, mentally deranged and sick who, frankly, look like they should be institutionalized,” he said.
