U.S. Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., has a plan to address what recently has been one of America’s worst problems: Vast and virtually unlimited immigration.

That problem has been a focal point for the administration of President Donald Trump, who has worked to secure the nation’s border and enforce its immigration and migration laws.

He’s often noted that the situation also is a national security threat, as unrestricted immigration during the tenure of Joe Biden in Washington included rapists, murderers and terrorists coming into the nation.

Ogles said, “It’s time for a major immigration paradigm shift. Our founders were prepared to drop the British flag to become Americans. Newcomers must be prepared to drop their flags and do the same. The ASSIMILATION Act will change everything. Stay Tuned.”

The proposal would reject the “suicidal” 1965 Hart-Celler Act that “flooded America with millions who refuse to integrate, demand Sharia accommodations, and wave foreign flags while spitting on Old Glory, according to the RAIR Foundation.

It dismantles chain migration and ends the H-1B scam that undercuts American workers. Most critically, it demands real assimilation: immigrants must embrace American values – or they don’t belong here, the report said.

It’s plan would be to end chain migration and family-based immigration as a primary route, eliminate the diversity visa lottery, which historically granted 55,000 visas annually to underrepresented countries, finish the H-1B visa program for workers who often are used to replace American workers, and introduce expanded moral character requirements, including background checks, social media reviews, and in-person interviews.”

Coming from a country without adequate verification? There would be new restrictions.

Social media commenters pointed out;

“Zero! NO AMNESTY.”

“YES!! This is an excellent idea. I’m happy to see this happening.”

“Assimilation is the barest of requirements!”

And “Agreed and Americans need Congress to step up to get this done!”

The Foundation report commented, “The ASSIMILATION Act isn’t just a bill – it’s a lifeline for Western civilization. If passed, it will restore sanity to our immigration system and ensure America remains American.”
