A video circulating on X shows a man who appears to be anti-ICE agitator Alex Pretti days before he was shot and killed in Minneapolis, spitting on an ICE agent, kicking in a vehicle’s tail light and subsequently getting taken to the ground by an officer.

This likely is footage of the Jan. 13 clash in which Pretti, 37, injured his rib, an incident reported earlier. The video is released by The News Movement, or TNM.

Reporter Julie Kelly posted on X about the video, saying, “This appears to be the incident that resulted in Pretti’s broken rib. BBC also reports he appeared to be carrying a firearm during this confrontation as well. Not a protester, not an observer.”

Bill Melugin of Fox News reports: “DHS confirms to Fox News they are aware of this video & HSI is investigating it.”

Megyn Kelly commented on the new video, saying: “Alex Pretti was itching for another confrontation with Border Patrol, whom he’d been stalking, harassing and terrorizing. HE had been victimizing THEM. His felonies are on tape. He was reckless, and it cost him his life. Find another poster boy, illegal-loving Leftists.”

ICE officers hold Pretti down and eventually release him. Said one X commenter, “Letting him go was the worst possible decision here. If he had been arrested, he’d still be alive and facing justice.”

Another X user noted what CNN reported about the filmed incident, leaving out certain details:
