The United States Agency of International Development (USAID) temporarily closed its headquarters down after Elon Musk suggested they be shut down. The HQ close happened because of a confrontation between DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) and USAID employees. News media are reporting that this has Elon Musk’s fingerprints all over it due to DOGE being an Elon project. However, there is an issue with the expenditures over at USAID. Some say that the money given to foreign nations from US taxpayer revenue is a huge waste that does not help US citizens, nor the people it is intended to help abroad.
