President Trump may send violent American criminals to prison in El Salvador. This news comes on the heels of what appears to be a successful meeting between Marco Rubio and El Salvador President Nayib Bukele. El Salvador has pledged to take in their own citizens upon deportation as well as citizens of other nations if their home nation refuses. There may also be room in these prisons for American citizens. Trump spoke about this possibility to news media. He stated that many of these people are violent, repeat offenders who are simply “no good.” Trump is also in the process of sending thousands of illegal aliens to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says the first plane load of migrants is already on the way to GITMO.
