Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) has become a hot button political issue in the United States. This initiative came about after the death of George Floyd in 2020 as a way to increase diversity in the workplace. The term “diversity” however, is no longer a synonym for “black”… it is a catch-all term that includes everyone who is not a straight white male. Corporations paid boatloads of money in an attempt to implement DEI. This created an interesting scenario in which all sorts of groups that could possibly fit under that umbrella came forward for their piece of the “DEI” pie.
The Department of Education’s Comprehensive Center instructs teachers to “flick that white man off your shoulder” in order to resist the “settler patriarchy” and the “white gaze.”

Many traveling public speakers are making multi-million dollar incomes off of the “DEI” grift. Some of them have become famous, such as Ibram X. Kendi. Diversity initiatives are not just relegated to the private sector. The Department of Education is going viral for a video from their Comprehensive Center in which a man spoke about the “white gaze” and “settler patriarchy.”
