49-year-old Cal Fire Captain Rebecca Marodi was found slain in her Northern San Diego home. The scene was gruesome as she was hit with a knife multiple times. Some large social media accounts attempted to pin the death on “MAGA” over criticism of how the Los Angeles wildfires were handled. Which is absurd to say especially since LAFD fire Chief Kristin Crowley was just fired by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. Furthermore, this death has nothing to do with political drama on social media or elsewhere.

The suspect in Rebecca Marodi’s death is her wife, 53-year-old Yolanda Marodi, also known as Yolanda Olenjniczak. Yolanda has served time in prison for taking the life of her first spouse, James Olenjniczak. She served at least 9 years in prison for manslaughter. Rebecca and Yolanda Marodi were married for two years in what friends describe as a “toxic” relationship. As of the writing of this article, Yolanda’s whereabouts are unknown.
