That time slot will be replaced by a panel show featuring Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Mendez, and Michael Steele. A clip featuring the three aforementioned people has recently gone viral on social media, perhaps intentionally so to promote the new time slot. Reid’s firing comes amid legacy television media struggling in a world where moderate and right-leaning podcasts such as the Joe Rogan Experience dominate the attention of younger people.
