The Governor of Maine, Janet Mills, has responded to a lawsuit from Attorney General Pam Bondi over Maine allowing boys to play against girls in high school sports. Bondi was joined with Education Secretary Linda McMahon and former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines during a recent press conference about the issue. At this conference, they not only spoke about the problems that Maine has, but also the entire nation. There is an epidemic of biological men and boys competing against women and girls. It has become a hindrance to many young women’s collegiate careers due to scholarships and other financial opportunities taken away by physically dominant biological men identifying as women.
Janet Mills appears to believe that all of the hoopla surrounding the subject of transgender women competing against biological women is a distraction from other issues. The Democratic Governor says that the current administration (President Trump) has a lot of other problems, such as the “mistakenly” deported illegal alien who was living in Maryland. The reality is that many of Mills’ own constituents have spoken out about how bad the problem of boys competing against girls in sports is. From the stolen opportunities to the physical discomfort of a biological male being in a sensitive area designated for women, such as a locker room and bathroom.
