Shannon Sharpe Hit With $50M Sexual Assault Lawsuit From Tony Buzbee

Shannon Sharpe has been hit with a $50 million lawsuit from a Jane Done who says he assaulted her twice, once in 2024 and once in 2025. The lawsuit was brought forward by notorious “ambulance chaser” lawyer Tony Buzbee. Timing of this allegation is interesting, considering the 56-year-old Hall of Fame NFL football player is reportedly seeking a $100 million podcast deal, which would be historic if true. As of the writing of this article, Shannon Sharpe has not publicly responded to the lawsuit.

A lawsuit against Sean “Diddy/Puff Daddy” Combs and Sean “Jay-Z” Carter was famously dropped last year. The suit against Combs and Carter allege they assaulted a 13-year-old girl over 20 years ago in New York City. Not only was that lawsuit dropped, Jay-Z is accusing Buzbee of extortion and he is also suing the Jane Doe who made the allegation. Buzbee was also involved in the Deshaun Watson case in which over 20 women accused him of some sort of inappropriate behavior or assault, stemming from training room sessions and/or massages.
