Kellyanne Conway said Friday on Fox Business that Democrats are experiencing an “ideology breakdown,” warning that their refusal to denounce antisemitism and support popular policies exposes a party in deep disarray.
During an appearance on “Kudlow,” Conway condemned Democratic lawmakers for what she characterized as their silence and complicity in the wake of escalating anti-Semitic rhetoric and violence. Conway said that Democrats have abandoned their voters and lost their moral compass on key policy issues.
“They all voted against these things that their constituents want. Democratic parties got worse at an identity crisis. They have an ideology breakdown where they can’t even support our best friend in that region, Israel,” Conway explained.
Conway pointed to the recent murder of two Israeli Embassy staffers near the Capitol Jewish Museum, and questioned why prominent Democrats, namely far-left Reps. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, failed to publicly condemn antisemitism following the attack.

“Two days after this beautiful couple was gunned down, who was actually calling out the antisemitism, anti-American speech of people like Rashida Tlaib, AOC? Certainly Ilhan Omar. Yesterday, she couldn’t even give you the doctrinaire political sanitized violence is never the option, and I pray for those condolences for the families of those two young people,” Conway said. “Not even that. She just had to get in her car and go, look, this is not just happening on our college campuses. The antisemitism is in our halls of Congress, and people better wake up to that.”
Conway pointed to the vote on a 2023 House resolution that condemned Hamas as a terrorist organization, just days after Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks on Israel.
“There were 31 Democrats, David, who voted against the resolution [on] October 18, 2023, 11 short days after what happened in Israel on Oct. 7,” Conway said. “They voted against the resolution to condemn Hamas as a terrorist group. That’s all it said. It didn’t talk about aid for Israel, it didn’t talk about Palestinian children in Gaza. It just wanted to condemn terrorists for the terrorist acts they committed.”
Beyond foreign policy, Conway slammed House Democrats for all voting against President Donald Trump’s “one big, beautiful bill” and argued that the package contained widely popular measures their own constituents support.
“So the Democrats have a problem. You know, David, they won’t speak up and speak out against this, and none of them voted for that big, beautiful bill. None of them think that tax cuts, tax credits, dereg[ulation], energy security, border security, school choice,” Conway noted.
The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution on Oct. 25, 2023, reaffirming U.S. support for Israel following the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks. The measure, House Resolution 771, condemned Hamas for launching an unprovoked war and drew opposition from Democrats including Tlaib, Omar, and Ocasio-Cortez.
While Democrats rejected the Israel resolution in smaller numbers, they unanimously opposed President Donald Trump’s sweeping tax and spending package, which the House narrowly passed Thursday. Speaker Mike Johnson called it a “historic moment” and urged the Senate to pass the bill quickly.
