Ami Horowitz ventured into the streets of New York City on behalf of Prager U to interview black and white citizens about the usage of bail in law enforcement. He started asking questions in the East Village neighborhood and then took a trip to Harlem. East Village is full of the super-liberal types and the majority of those interviewed there were white. Harlem is a historically black area of New York City and everyone he interviewed there was black. The East Village people not only said that bail is racist, but they also said that it is tantamount to indentured servitude or slavery. One man even harkened back to the Salem Witch Trials. The Harlem interviewees all said that bail is not racist and that it is a tool to increase safety in a community that needs it.
